The Irish National Heritage Park plays host to Art exhibitions in association with the Wexford Opera Fringe Festival which runs from 19th October until 4th of November 2012.
The festival exhibitions at the Irish National Heritage Park in Ferrycarrig includes an Art Exhibition titled ‘Flavours of Wexford’ – New mixed media work of places and story from Wexford by local Artist Roisin Markham.
Roisin Markham is a visual artist working from her Ballygarrett Art Studio near Gorey, County Wexford. In her new work she expresses a personal response to living and working in her adopted county Wexford, the beauty of the landscape, architecture, land use and the stories and her experiences of rural living.
The Heritage Park is also hosting a Quilt Making and Patchwork Exhibition with Sherry Nugent giving visitors the opportunity to see modern art of long-time tradition. Exhibitions run from 19th Oct until 4th Nov from 9.30am until 5.30pm.
Other art exhibitions include Maurice Roche, Jacinta Murphy & Dimitry Diamond which feature in the Fulacht Fiadh Restaurant.
