The progress in the building of our Crannog is amazing, very soon we will open the Crannog for all to see.

In terms of progress of the construction of the Crannog: the thatching of the Crannog has been finished, the walls are being lined with broken sea shells and next time we see it, the walls of the big Round House will probably be white! We are truly in the final stages now.

Lining of the walls will take place in the next week and landscaping is soon to begin.

We are very much looking forward to our official re-launch later this Summer!  We hope that our house wil be used for loads of different things- exhibitions, concerts, theatre, opera and most if all, feasting! One of the great functions of a king in ancient Ireland wad to feast his warriors and we plan to continue that fine tradition! From summer 2013, you will be able to book into an ancient Irish feast on the crannog and we can promise you a night to remember!
