Free parking is available at our Visitor Centre.
Located adjacent to the Gift Shop is our Restaurant/coffee shop. The Fulacht Fiadh Restaurant is themed on the archaeological and historical exhibits in the park. The Restaurant overlooks the crannog and lake with a free play area and an outdoor seating area on the terrace. It is the perfect place to relax at the end of your visit, tea, coffee, soup, meals, sandwiches, tasty cakes and much more are on offer.
Getting Here – Public Transport to and from Wexford
Direct bus routes from Wexford Town are not available to The Irish National Heritage Park, However regional bus routes are listed below:
Wexford Bus operate up to 10 times daily between Wexford and Dublin city & Airport.
Ardcavan Bus operate regular services to Dublin and Limerick.
Irish rail: Wexford is two-and-half hours from Dublin by train. If you are flying into Dublin Airport there is a connecting coach service from the Airport to Busáras, the central bus station, which is very close to Connolly Station from where the Wexford train leaves. There are plenty of taxi companies in Wexford who will also travel to and from any part of Ireland. It’s always a good idea for both parties to agree on a price beforehand.
Ireland attracts many visitors from abroad and most major airlines operate regular services to Dublin, Cork and Shannon including, Aer Lingus, Ryanair and British Midland (BMI).
Aer Arann also operate a regular service to Waterford Airport, located just 70km (1hr 15min drive) from Wexford Town. Services include flights from London Luton, Manchester and Birmingham. There are no current public transport services running from Waterford airport. Car Hire is available at the airport and a taxi service is also available to shuttle passengers to and from Waterford train/bus station (approx 10K).
